Gopal II

A lesser-documented successor whose existence helps complete the intricate early family tree.

Gopal II appears in reconstructions of the late ninth-century line of Devpal's descendants. His place and reign length are less securely known than those of the founder or the great expanding monarchs.

Fragmentary copperplates and later genealogy must be compared carefully before turning a proposed sequence into fact. The name Gopal recurs many times in the dynasty, a frequent source of inconsistent numbering.

This profile preserves his place without attributing monuments or campaigns unsupported by surviving evidence.
